Updates

Modernized Portal Design

The portal has been rebuilt using the latest technology for a cleaner, more modern look while maintaining all existing features.

Updated User Management Screen

The Portal User Management screen has been expanded to provide more space for managing users.

  • The screen is now wider, making it easier to view and navigate user details.

  • You can choose to show or hide the Locations column to customize your view.

This update helps you focus on the information that matters most while improving overall usability.

Improved Password Reset and Invitations

We’ve made several updates to improve the password reset and invitation process:

  • Email Handling: Fixed issues related to case sensitivity in email addresses.

  • Redirect After Setup: After creating a new password, users are now redirected to the login screen.

  • Clear Error Messaging: Login errors are displayed with consistent, unified messages.

  • Dedicated Reset Screen: Password reset now has its own distinct screen for clarity.

These improvements make it easier and more reliable for users to reset their passwords or accept an invite.

New Features

Improved User Management

A Locations column has been added for both portal users and invited users.

  • Users must now be linked to at least one location to receive portal invitations.

  • If a user is not linked to a location, the system will display a warning.

This ensures that only users associated with a location can access the portal.

Enhanced Requests Tab

The Requests screen now includes new features to make tracking and managing requests easier:

  • Badge Count: A badge displays the number of new requests and updates in real-time.

  • Filtering: You can filter requests by criteria such as installation.

  • Saved Views: Save your filtered views for quick access in the future.

These updates help you stay on top of new activity and streamline how you organize requests.

Flexible Request Conversion

Requests can now be converted to quotes or jobs using templates. All relevant fields from the template are pre-filled for efficiency.

Apply Job Template when Converting a Request

  • Choose Job Template during conversion

  • Request questions appended to Job Description

Converting Request to a Quote

  1. Start the Conversion
Select the Convert to Quote button from the request.

  2. Automatic Data Transfer
The request details are automatically carried over into the new quote, so you don’t need to re-enter information.

  3. Linked Records
The quote remains linked to the original request, making it easy to track the relationship between the two.

  4. Customer Visibility
Once created, the quote is visible to your customer in the Customer Portal.

QR Code Sharing

You can download a QR code that links directly to your portal.

Add it to marketing materials, email signatures, or other communications to give customers a quick and easy way to access the portal.

Request Button Control

Administrators can now choose whether the Request button is visible to everyone or only to logged-in users.

This setting gives you greater control over who can submit requests, ensuring the option is available only to the audience you want to reach.
