New Roles and Rights have been added to cover recently-added Enterprise Model functionality.
Org. Admin
A new Role has been added – Organization Admin (shortened to Org. Admin).
Fig. 12: Org. Admin role in the Roles & Rights table
The Org. Admin role is for admin users who can configure the business settings at the top level of the organization. At this level, the overall settings for the organization can be accessed, including:
Branch creation and configuration
Viewing the User List for the organization
Configuration of custom fields
Configuration of Smart Scheduler settings
CSV Import/Export
All settings that were previously under the Company Settings page, except for those listed in the Branch Admin section below.

When an existing business is converted to Enterprise Model, all pre-existing Admins will be migrated to Org. Admins.
Branch Admin
The old Admin role should be used for users who manage the branch settings. Branch settings include:
Setting the branch address
Configuring Default Crews
Specifying PDF Addresses

To allow, for example, a Branch Manager to configure settings within his or her branch, set their role to Admin. This way they will can manage their branch without being able to change settings for the overall organization.
Borrowing Technicians from Other Branches
The ‘Borrow Technician’ feature allows a planner or dispatcher to assign or ‘borrow’ a technician from another branch for one of her jobs.
This is controlled by a permission is named "Borrow Crew Members" and can be found in the Jobs section and the Quotes section of the Roles and Rights grid.
With this permission enabled, you can borrow techs from any branch to which you have View-only Access.
However, remember that you require Full Access to the job’s base branch to add crew members, drag and drop, or make any other modifications.
Example of Borrowing Crew
Alyssa is a dispatcher is Branch A. She creates a job for a customer and wants to assign it to one of the technicians in Branch A. However, she sees in the Scheduler that no Branch A technicians are available. Then she sees that there is a technician named Bob in Branch B who has availability.
To assign the job to Bob, Alyssa needs the following:
View-only access into Branch B
The 'Borrow Crew Members' permission in the Roles & Rights table set to Job Page or Scheduler & Job Page
Alyssa has the permission set to Scheduler & Job Page, so she drags the job onto Bob’s row in the Scheduler.*
*If Alyssa’s permission was set to Job Page, she would have to open the Job Page to assign Bob to the job.
Fig. 15: ‘Borrow Crew Members’ permission. Select Disabled, Job Page or Scheduler & Job Page
The ‘Borrow Crew Members’ permission can be set to either ‘Job Page’ or ‘Scheduler & Job Page’. Both permissions allow assignment of a job via the job page, but you must have the ‘Scheduler & Job Page’ option selected to borrow using drag and drop in the Scheduler. This is to prevent less experienced users accidentally borrowing technicians from other branches.
