The Job Type is a field set when creating or updating a job. Job Types can be set up in the Company Settings area under the Scheduler Settings tab or via the API.
Remember, the Smart Scheduler matches technicians to Job Types based on their skills, so it’s a good idea to create Job Types that can logically be mapped to User Skills. For example, a Job Type called Install might not be very helpful if the business carries out both electrical installation and plumbing installation. A better approach might be two Job Types: Install - Plumbing and Install - Electrical.
