Job Page: Policy details and compliant technicians

When manually assigning technicians from the Job Page, use the Policy panel to see the policy requirements in advance. The policy is the currently active policy which has been set in the Company Settings. The suitability of technicians for the job is based on the current active policy’s rules around Job Type & Skills, Service Area, Permits and Exclusions.

The crew member dropdown menu, shown below, is split into compliant techs who match the current policy, and non-compliant techs who violate the policy rules for one or more reasons. You are guided to assign compliant technicians, but you can choose to assign non-compliant technicians and the relevant violations will be flagged.

When a non-compliant tech is added to the job, a yellow warning icon is shown beside their name. Click on this icon to see the rule violations that apply to this technician.

As with drag-and-drop assignment from the Unassigned List, rule violations must be approved. When you save your a non-compliant job, approve the violations using the dialog.
