Unassigned Jobs List in the Scheduler
The Unassigned Jobs List, or Unassigned List, is your To-Do list of jobs to be done. It is accessed by clicking the Unassigned button in the top right of the Scheduler.
Drag and Drop - Highlighting Compliant Techs
Policy rules apply to drag-and-drop scheduling. Once you start to drag a job from the Unassigned List, you will see that technicians who do not comply with the rules of the Current Active Policy are grayed out as shown below.
The gray shading tells you at a glance who to avoid. When you drag the job over a compliant technician, their row will highlight in green as an additional confirmation that the technician is suitable for the job.
When you hold the job block over the row of a non-compliant tech for a moment, a tooltip appears showing what rules are being violated. You can then decide to proceed to drop the job on the technician if you deem the violation to be acceptable.
For example, a job may be urgent but there is no technician available in the job location’s Service Area. In the interests of providing excellent customer service, you can assign the job to a technician from outside the service area.
If you assign a job to a non-compliant technician, you will be asked to confirm the violation. This step is explained further in the Approving Rule Violations page.

Unassigned List Tips and Tricks
Date Range
By default, the Unassigned List date range matches that of the main Scheduler view (this is called the scheduling horizon). However you can extend the date range into the past and future to see if there are additional jobs that could be considered for scheduling.
You can also remove the ‘from’ date, so that Unassigned List displays all past jobs. This is a great way to ensure that no past jobs are missed. Do this using the Show all past jobs in unassigned panel setting in the Company Settings.
When this setting is enabled, there is is no ‘from’ date in the Unassigned List date range selector, only a ‘to’ date.
Scheduled Duration
It is highly recommended to enable the Scheduled Duration field in the Unassigned List filters. For single-time slot jobs, the Scheduled Duration is the time slot duration; for multi-stage jobs, the Scheduled Duration is the time from earliest start to latest finish.
The Scheduled Duration is also shown in the Job Page
Job Block length
When you drag a job from the Unassigned List to the Scheduler view, the length of the job block reflects the job’s Scheduled Duration.

When dragging multi-time slot jobs or multi-stage jobs, the block length is the duration of the first time slot. Additional time slots are indicated by a +1 more, +2 more, etc.
