We are excited to announce the release of the "Bulk Schedule Unavailability" feature, designed to enhance scheduling efficiency and scalability for businesses with large field workforce teams.

What's new in this release?

  • Users can now select multiple people when creating unavailability time, eliminating the need to create individual entries

  • Existing unavailability blocks can be modified by adding or removing people, streamlining updates and changes

  • Unavailability blocks containing multiple people can be rescheduled in bulk, reducing administrative burdens

Key Benefits:

  • Increased Efficiency: Businesses with large field workforce teams can now easily schedule public holidays, business training days, and other recurring events without having to create individual entries for each technician.

  • Improved Scalability: The feature allows for seamless management of large amounts of unavailability data, making it easier to maintain accurate schedules.

How It Works:

Users can access the Bulk Schedule Unavailability feature through the Scheduler View by either;

  1. By clicking on the (+) New Dropdown and choosing the "Unavailability" option.

    1. From here, you can select multiple people, add or remove individuals from existing unavailability blocks, and reschedule blocks containing multiple people.

  2. Additionally, if you have already created a Bulk Unavailable block or time slot and assigned it to a number of technicians you can click on that block and add/remove assignees or change the date and time of that bulk unavailable time block

To ensure your unavailable time blocks align perfectly with your working day, we recommend blocking out the specific hours of your work schedule when creating bulk Unavailable Time entries.

This approach allows for greater accuracy and flexibility, especially for full-day blocks, so your calendar always reflects your availability reliably.

By tailoring your blocks to the working day, you'll have clearer control over your schedule and avoid potential timezone mismatches. API Integration:

The Bulk Schedule Unavailability feature is also available through the API, enabling developers to integrate this functionality into their applications and workflows.
