Release Notes: Quoting in NetSuite

This article announces a new integration between NetSuite when creating Quotes in the field.

What’s new in this release?

Field technicians can now access accurate, real-time pricing from NetSuite when creating quotes in the field. This enables them to present customers with immediate estimates that reflect current pricing rules, including discounts and tiers configured in NetSuite. By streamlining the quoting process on-site, technicians can minimize errors and support faster decision-making, helping to secure sales during the initial customer visit.

Quotes on Mobile - “Request Pricing” button

Mobile users will see that Quotes now have a button named “Request Pricing”.

When the technician has added all the tasks and items to the quote and set the appropriate quantities, he or she can tap the “Request Pricing” button, and up-to-date NetSuite pricing will be fetched.

FieldAware Quotes Sync to NetSuite Estimates

In addition to fetching pricing, which includes NetSuite pricing rules, Quotes created in FieldAware will sync back to NetSuite to create an Estimate.

When a Technician “Completes” the quote and the status of the Quote is Approved, then the quote will create an estimate in NetSuite with all relevant information, such as:

  • FieldAware Quote ID

  • The Quotes Status = Approved

  • customer contact & location details

  • pricing for tasks and items

  • Created At Timestamp

  • Job Lead
