Release Notes: Improving Data Accuracy - Parts Tracking

This article announces improvements to Planned vs. Used Item Quantities on Jobs and Quotes, in addition to enhancing the NetSuite integration.

🚀 What’s Launching?

We’re excited to share updates that make it easier and more accurate to track Item quantities across Jobs and Quotes. These improvements are designed to align with how you work, while ensuring consistency and reliability in your data.

Accurate Planned & Used Quantities on Jobs

The Planned and Used Quantity fields will now update automatically based on the job’s status (Completed, Scheduled, Paused, or Active). To make sure your records stay accurate, we’ll also update historical jobs with the correct Used Quantity values.

Streamlined Quotes

Quotes will continue to show a single Quantity field. When a Quote is converted into a Job, this field will automatically become the Planned Quantity - no extra steps required.

NetSuite Integration

If you’re using NetSuite, these updates will connect seamlessly with your Inventory Consumption workflow, ensuring smooth data flow between systems.

Together, these enhancements make it easier to manage jobs and quotes with accuracy, consistency, and less manual work.
