Introduction
If you are a mobile user, you can now view your Timesheets directly in the FieldAware Mobile app. This means you can verify your worked hours and make corrections in the field, without needing to log in to the FieldAware web app.
This helps maximize productive time and prevent payroll delays.
How to view Timesheets in the mobile app
Apple
On Apple devices, tap the More menu option and select Timesheets:
Android
On Android devices, expand the Navigation Menu and select Timesheets:
Mobile Timesheets Tips
Default Timesheet View
When you first navigate to Timesheets, this week’s timesheet is displayed by default.
Fixing Timesheet Errors
Timesheet time entries are based on Start, Pause, Complete & Travel actions in the Job Time Log. To fix errors, tap the Job ID to edit your job and travel times. This will recalculate the timesheet.
There are time limits on editing the Job Time Log. See the next section.
Calculating Overtime Correctly
Overtime is calculated based on the setting in Company Settings. This is the same setting that is used to calculate overtime in web app Timesheets. See Timesheets Enhancements - Overtime, Job Location, Paid Unavailability and Travel Time. for more.
Work Week Start Day
The Work Week Start day in the Mobile Calendar view is based on the setting in Company Settings
Limits on Editing Job Times
The Job Time Log - and therefore Timesheet time entries - can only be edited within a certain time window, as specified by a manager or admin.
Managers and admins can change this setting in the Company Settings > Timesheets section.
Do I need to submit my Timesheet?
The Mobile Timesheets feature has been designed so that the mobile user and the back-office manager see exactly the same time entries and overtime calculations. This means that there is no need to take the action of submitting a Timesheet.
To ensure timesheets are processed in time for payroll, we recommend your company agrees a cutoff point for accepting timesheet corrections. You can use the Job Time Log Editing Window (see above) to encourage this behavior.
