Job Event SMS Settings

Specify which Job events will send SMS Notifications to your customer.

What's new in this release?

You can now specify which Job events trigger SMS Notifications to be sent to your Customer Contacts - Job Scheduled, Travel Started, Job Started or Job Complete.

This means you can make communications much more targeted and avoid overloading your customers with messages.

Previous to this release, when a Customer Contact was selected to receive SMS notifications they would receive a Notification for every Job event.

Thanks to user feedback we realized that this was information overload for many people, and what customers really wanted was to be able to only send SMS notifications for certain job events.

Now, in the SMS Notification settings area, you can toggle on or off the events for which you want Notifications to be sent.

Note that this is a global setting - preferences set here apply to all recipients of SMS messages.

All settings are ON by default (to maintain previous behavior) so you should go to Company Settings. Here you can switch on or off the triggers for SMS messages.
