What's new in this release?
We are excited to introduce the Email Logs & Alerts feature, designed to give users complete visibility into their email communications for jobs, quotes and invoices. This feature allows you to track when emails were sent, who they were sent to, and their delivery status. This improves your organization's visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
In addition, this release includes a unified view of all failed delivery emails associated with jobs, quotes, and invoices, all in one area within a new view called Email Alerts. These logs are also available through the API for easy reporting and integration with external systems. This feature is available to all Standard and Enterprise customers.
Key Benefits
Issue Detection: Quickly identify email delivery problems, like non-delivered invoices
Better Customer Communication: Ensure seamless communication with customers
Streamlined Troubleshooting: Direct access to logs simplifies issue resolution
Increased Transparency: Visible email status builds trust and accountability
Enhanced Customer Satisfaction: Proactive management leads to early issue detection and resolution
Key Features
Email Logs: Users can now view sent email logs on the jobs, quotes, and invoices records thus providing a complete communication history with your customers. Email logs are also available on the Customer Record, providing a complete view of communications with specific customers.
Email Log Widget: A widget that displays delivery status and last sent date on the customer, quote, job and invoice record. This widget is clickable thus allowing you to view all email logs that pertain to the record that you are currently looking at.
Renamed Event History: The Event History tab has been renamed to "Events" for clarity which now encompasses the newly renamed Events and Email Alerts views.
New Email Alerts subtab: A new Email Alerts subtab has been added to the newly renamed Events view.
Email Alerts View: This new view contains all email logs with negative delivery status (e.g. Bounced, Blocked, Failed) for the organization thus centralizing the tracking of email delivery issues.
This view is both filterable, sortable and searchable
Currently you can search by email recipient, PDF link or Record ID (i.e. Job, Quote or Invoice ID)
Email Alerts: Negative delivery status of emails triggers notifications that now appear within the Notification Activity Feed under its own section called "Email" therefore keeping users informed of email issues in real time.
Role and Rights Management: FieldAware administrators can manage access to email notifications and logs through role and rights view found under Company settings.
