Tap-to-Contact & Manual Email Entry Now Available
Technicians can now communicate with customers more efficiently from the field. In the FieldAware Mobile App, tapping on a customer’s phone number or email address within the Job > Customer section instantly launches your device’s default call, text, or email app—no more copying and pasting contact info.
Additionally, technicians can now manually enter email addresses when sending job details, removing the dependency on saved customer records. These enhancements streamline on-site workflows and help ensure seamless, real-time communication with both customers and their clients.
Note: Both features will need a cellular or Wi-fi connection for communications to occur.
Note: For mobile users, updates to the FieldAware app will launch in phases over a period of time following Apple and Google Play Store guidelines. You may not have access to Mandatory Fields immediately upon its release. Please be patient and keep an eye out for when your app is ready for an update.
